Effective Date: April 23, 2021
1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
We collect two basic types of information:
- Personal Information (PI): PI is information that identifies you as an individual, such as your
name, email address, phone number, and any other element of information that helps identify you. As
of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we do not require you to provide any type of PI to
create and edit documents on our Site. If you elect to register and/or purchase a subscription to
use our Service, you may provide us with certain elements of PI under the following
circumstances:
- Registration: To save a document, you must register to use our Service. To register, we
request you to provide us with your email address and a password.
- Subscription: If you purchase a subscription to obtain a higher level of service, we request
that you provide us with your name, address, phone number, and payment information (i.e., a
credit or debit card).
- Saving and Storing: The content of the documents you create, save, and store on our Site may
include PI belonging to yourself or others. The nature and extent of whatever PI is included in
your documents is obviously outside of our control.
- Third-Party Login: If you choose to log in to our site through Google or Facebook, you are
granting us permission to access and use certain information about you that you choose to
include in your social media profile.
- Help Forum: If you post a question in our user help forum, it will be visible to other users.
To the extent possible you should avoid including your name or any other element of PI when
posting or answering questions.
- IP Address: We also record your computer IP address whenever you visit our Site. Under
ordinary circumstances, an IP address recorded in isliation is not PI under the standard
definition of the term. However, it may become PI when it is combined with other information.
- General Information: General Information consists of information that is anonymous in nature and
does not identify you as an individual. We use cookies to collect General Information. A “cookie” is
a type of software used to gather and store visitor information. The General Information we collect
includes (but is not limited to) your computer IP address (when not tied to your particular
account), unique mobile device identifier, browser type, ISP or carrier name, and the URL of the
last webpage you visited before visiting our website. We also use analytical tracking and usage
analysis software to collect General Information about online behaviors, which are further discussed
in Section 7 below.
2. HOW DO WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT?
We use the PI you provide to us when you register to identify you as a genuine User and
to process your payment (if applicable). We use your email address to contact you regarding your account,
and may also send you non-account related promotional emails regarding products and services we believe may
be of interest to you. You may request that we stop sending you promotional emails at any time by clicking
the “Unsubscribe” link included with each email. We use the General Information we collect to obtain
insights on how people use our Site. We use this information for various internal business purposes, and to
ensure that our Site continues to appeal to our users.
3. HOW DO WE SHARE INFORMATION?
We do not sell or broker any of the information you provide to us to third parties for
marketing purposes absent your prior, express consent. We will share information with third parties in the
following ways:

our behalf, such payment processing, data storage and analysis, hosting the website, and monitoring

customer information is typically one of the business assets that are transferred. If all or
substantially all of our business assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that we go out of
business or enter into bankruptcy, customer information (including PI), would be one of the assets that
is transferred or acquired by a third party.
- Legal: We may reserve and have the right to disclose any information about you or your use of our site
without your prior permission, if we in good faith believe that such action is necessary to: (i) protect
